The LG3000 was a heavy truck built between 1935 and 1938. 7434 LG3000s were completed, of which most were damaged or destroyed during World War 2.
This model is based on the replica LG3000 built on a GM CCKW-353 truck chassis for the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981), in which it is hijacked while carrying the Ark of the Covenant to the airport in Cairo. This vehicle is still existent; it is parked outside the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland (CA). Note: The Ark of the Covenant was made by "Darth Hideous," the tire textures were copied from one of "EMAG"'s simple tires.
